My family recently got back from vacation in Spain, and needless to say, it was much needed. I always feel so grateful when I get the opportunity to see my extended family because I rarely get to see them. Spending time with my mom, dad, siblings, grandparents, and cousins for almost three weeks was a blast!
The last time I was in Spain, I was 11. A lot has changed, and I definitely have a new found appreciation for the country my father grew up in.
From laughing til we were on the verge of up-chucking to having meaningful conversations with one another, quality time with these crazy goons was quite... interesting... & I loved every minute of it.

Watching the Euro Cup, going to the beach, drinking Fanta Lemón... One of my favorite part was seeing my dad's eyes light up when he recognized little things from his childhood, and then being territorial over it (specifically food... homeboy was being a tiny bit stingy. But we forgive him.) From going to not living at home and not really seeing my family for 5 months, to spending every waking minute with them for a few weeks was really fun. I love Spain... & I love my fam bam.
